LUCIAN GAZED AT AUDRA under hooded lids. She had always been beautiful in his eyes. Beautiful and angelic...until now.

She usually had her hair neatly tied back in a low ponytail, and if she wasn't in her uniform, he would see her in modest, loose-fitting dresses. Today, however, she had on a dress that bared her entire shoulders, and she had worn her hair loose, too, with her long flaxen locks streaming down her back. His lips twisted.

If he had to choose a word, it would be fuckable, and if only...

If only he was drunk enough to think that the change was because of him.

But since he wasn't...

Lucian turned towards Audra—-

What the fuck?

He found himself pushed back against the couch, Audra now straddling his lap, her hands flat against his chest, and her teeth sinking into her lower lip.

"This will probably come as a surprise," she said shyly, "but I think I've been in love with you for years."

Liar.

He wanted to snarl the word out at her, but if he did, that would give the whole thing away, and so instead Lucian found himself driving his fingers through her silken locks...

He heard her gasp, saw her eyes close for a moment as if she was savoring his touch, and pain gripped his chest.

Damn her.

She was so good...how the fuck had she gotten this good at making a man even as experienced as him believe that she meant what she said?

How the fuck could she have gotten this good...if not through experience as well?

His grip on her hair tightened, enough for her eyes to fly open. He waited for her to cry out in pain, to tell him that he was hurting her, but instead what he saw in her gaze made Lucian suck his breath.

She was excited.

And when her lips parted, and he heard her say his name yet again—-

"Lucian."

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

It wasn't just excitement, after all. Instead, she was fucking hungry for him, hot and horny for him, and God help him, even as the need to punish her still consumed him—-

It was the same for him, dammit.

He hungered for her, too.

Was hot and horny for her.

And now, there was no need at all to hold back.
